Recital 30

Entities in charge of central registers should carry out their functions free of undue influence, including any undue political or industry influence in relation to the verification of information, the imposition of measures or sanctions and the granting of access to persons with a legitimate interest. To that end, entities in charge of central registers should have in place policies to prevent and manage conflicts of interest.
