# Article 75b — Commitments

*In force · Consolidated version of 27 July 2026 · Checked against EUR-Lex on 30 Sep 2026 ·* [*Official source*](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:02024R1689-20260727)

If, during proceedings under [Article 75a(2)](/ai-act/articles/75a.md), the [operator](https://www.headlesslaw.com/definitions/ai-act/operator) concerned offers commitments to ensure compliance with the relevant provisions of this Regulation, the [AI Office](https://www.headlesslaw.com/definitions/ai-act/ai-office) may, by decision, make those commitments binding on the operator concerned and declare that there are no further grounds for action. The AI Office may, upon request or on its own initiative, reopen the proceedings where:

**(a)** there has been a material change in any of the facts on which the decision was based;

**(b)** the operator acts contrary to its commitments; or

**(c)** the decision was based on incomplete, incorrect or misleading information provided by the operator concerned.

Where the AI Office considers that the commitments offered by the operator concerned are unable to ensure effective compliance with the relevant provisions of this Regulation, it shall reject those commitments in a reasoned decision when concluding the proceedings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.headlesslaw.com/ai-act/articles/75b.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
