This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Regulation shall apply from 3 January 2018.

Notwithstanding the second paragraph, [Article 1(8)](1.md) and (9), [Article 2(2)](2.md), [Article 4(6)](4.md), [Article 5(6)](5.md) and (9), [Article 7(2)](7.md), [Article 9(5)](9.md), [Article 11(4)](11.md), [Article 12(2)](12.md), [Article 13(2)](13.md), [Article 14(7)](14.md), [Article 15(5)](15.md), [Article 17(3)](17.md), [Article 19(2)](19.md) and (3), [Article 20(3)](20.md), [Article 21(5)](21.md), [Article 22(4)](22.md), [Article 23(3)](23.md), [Article 25(3)](25.md), [Article 26(9)](26.md), [Article 27(3)](27.md), [Article 28(4)](28.md), [Article 28(5)](28.md), [Article 29(3)](29.md), [Article 30(2)](30.md), [Article 31(4)](31.md), [Article 32(1)](32.md), (5) and(6), [Article 33(2)](33.md), [Article 35(6)](35.md), [Article 36(6)](36.md), [Article 37(4)](37.md), [Article 38(3)](38.md), [Article 40(8)](40.md), [Article 41(8)](41.md), [Article 42(7)](42.md), [Article 45(10)](45.md), [Article 46(7)](46.md), [Article 47(1)](47.md) and (4), [Article 52(10)](52.md) and (12) and [Article 54(1)](54.md) shall apply immediately following the entry into force of this Regulation.

Notwithstanding the second paragraph, [Article 37(1)](37.md), (2) and (3) shall apply from 3 January 2020.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
