The ESAs comprise the European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority) (EBA) established by Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) (EIOPA) established by Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and the European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority) (ESMA) established by Regulation (EU) No 1095/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The ESAs have a crucial role to play in safeguarding the stability of the financial sector. It is therefore essential to ensure continuously that the development of their work is a matter of high political priority and that they are adequately resourced.","marks":[],"text_hash":"10122b58fbe0b669398da3c7a4137a6ec71f874a5fa2bd3bc2ac5ca144594ed4","revision":1,"blocks":[{"locator":"emir/recitals/rec/3/block/1","text_hash":"10122b58fbe0b669398da3c7a4137a6ec71f874a5fa2bd3bc2ac5ca144594ed4","revision":1}]}}
