id=\"art-1\"></a>Article 1\n\nFor the purposes of paragraph 6 of [Article 25](../../articles/25.md) of Regulation (EU) No 648/2012, the legal and supervisory arrangements of the UAE consisting of the Regulations issued by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), as complemented by the application of the Principles for Financial Markets Infrastructures enacted by SCA Board Decision No 11 of 2015, and applicable to CCPs authorised therein shall be considered to be equivalent to the requirements laid down in Regulation (EU) No
