For the purposes of [Article 25(6)](../../articles/25.md) of Regulation (EU) No 648/2012, the legal and supervisory arrangements of South Africa consisting of the Financial Markets Act, Act No 19 of 2012, and the Financial Markets Act Regulations and applicable to licensed clearing houses authorised therein shall be considered to be equivalent to the requirements laid down in Regulation (EU) No 648/2012.
