# Article 7 — Entry into force and application

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the *Official Journal of the European Union*.

However, the Lead Overseer shall apply the sub-criterion 1.4 referred to in Article 2, paragraph 5, point (b) as of 16 January 2025.
